The latest issue of arc magazine includes an exclusive look inside one of our most elegant workplace schemes, One Offices at One Za’abeel.
Situated within the iconic One Za’abeel development – a landmark mixed-use development by architect Nikken Sekkei, distinguished by the world’s longest cantilever suspended between two skyscrapers – this private office space features a hospitality-inspired design narrative conceived by our project partner JLL. The result is a quietly refined interior defined by warmth, character and beautiful details.
‘It was our role to ensure the lighting lived up to that standard,’ shares Lama Arouri.
In the reception lobby, a bespoke lighting installation creates a moment of delicacy against the sculptural staircase. Subtly integrated layers of light elevate the piece, directing light onto the glass birds and creating a soft path of light along the marble stairs below.
‘Through carefully integrated lighting details, the staircase became a central feature, helping to improve circulation while enhancing the overall experience,’ Lama adds.
