Situated at the gateway to Dubai’s central business district, One Offices reimagines the modern office within the landmark One Za’abeel development. Conceived by JLL, the premium office suites, high-spec conference facilities and beautifully curated amenities exude elevated luxury and thoughtful design.
As One Offices is seamlessly connected to the neighbouring One&Only Urban Resort and the Michelin-starred restaurants in One Za’abeel’s futuristic floating skybridge, a thread of refined hospitality runs through the design. Our lighting scheme supports the narrative, injecting warmth, balance and drama into the shared space while enhancing performance in the work zone and meeting rooms.
In the double-height lobby, a showstopping lighting installation heightens the sense of arrival, animating the staircase that playfully links the two floors. Comprising 500 handblown glass birds, the centrepiece introduces a moment of delicacy amidst the sculptured lines of the architecture. Layers of architectural light bounce light onto the glass elements, producing a soft, ethereal glow.
The ambience-rich shared lounges and breakout areas feature rhythmic lines of recessed downlights, designed to form a harmonious glow above the seating areas. These diffuse lines of light extend into the circulation zones, producing a natural sense of flow throughout the building.
The lighting in the workplace suites can be tailored to accommodate different spatial layouts and working styles. Minimalist rectilinear track and spotlight systems mirror the sleek lines of the architecture and have been designed to be reconfigured as needs evolve.
In the meeting areas and conference rooms, layers of light emulate the warmth of the communal areas, while optimising each space for face-to-face meetings and video conferencing. Cove lighting and ultra-discreet downlights produce the right blend of ambient and accent illumination to enhance user comfort.
