AAID developed an interior scheme for Norton Rose Fulbright’s new Dubai office that reflects the firm’s identity, creating a professional, elegant, and approachable workspace. The lighting scheme enriches the classic interiors through refined and functional design.
Our lighting solution takes its lead from the interior design, guided by clean lines and rich layers of high-quality, restrained materials, and key architectural details. The design approach centres on encouraging concentration and productivity while creating an invigorating yet inviting atmosphere.
A gently illuminated ceiling cove creates a crisp, bright aesthetic, complemented by integrated lighting underneath the reception desk. A wash of light on the back wall provides the perfect backdrop for the glowing company name.
Subtle linear illumination and task-orientated fixtures provide comfortable light levels inside sleek, glass-enclosed portals, supporting focused work.
Punctuating downlights illuminate the clean perimeters of glazed walkways that define the space, helping to guide users through the office and emphasise access points.
Lighting embedded within dark wooden linear frames creates stylish yet functional focal points. The eye-catching ceiling installations hover above conference tables to provide task lighting, while the warm tone of the timber fosters a collaborative environment among employees and clients.
Lighting details within shelving units and select decorative fixtures provide a layer of accent lighting, enhancing the luxurious, atmospheric dining space. Cove lighting accentuates architectural lines in the ceiling while delivering soft, ambient illumination.
The project attained a silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, acknowledging that it demonstrates understanding of green building technologies and best practices, contributing towards meeting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
