Developed by interior design studio AAID, this immersive and inspiring workplace for a prominent global consultancy firm is all about collaboration, comfort and wellbeing. The architectural lighting design works seamlessly with the interiors to define the tone and mood in each environment.
Our tailored lighting strategy shapes the workplace journey – encouraging flow and a warm sense of connection in communal areas, energy in focused work zones, and calm in places for those who need a moment to pause.
The lighting design creates a warm welcome for employees and clients. Downlights and spotlights bathe the reception desk, seating area and lift lobby in ambient illumination, while concealed lines of light radiate from surfaces and joinery to bring out the finishes and decorative objects.
A sweeping curve of illumination frames the reception area’s feature ceiling, enriching the metallic finish and adding texture and shimmer. Flowing curves of light continue in communal areas, forming an elevating glow across the kitchen and lounge areas. Soft cove and integrated joinery lighting, alongside domestic-style pendants, reinforce the comfortable, laid-back feel in these spaces.
Graphic lines of light animate the sculptured architectural ceiling, adding energy, dimension and character. Downlights illuminate circulation routes, naturally encouraging movement, while at a lower level, hidden spike lights accentuate the planting.
Layered lighting creates the perfect combination of comfort, efficiency and flattering illumination in meeting and conference spaces. Cove lighting forms a backdrop of ambient illumination while diffuse linear lights, punchy downlights, and wall grazers provide good facial recognition.
The lighting is dialled down and human-scale to support focus and recharging. Low-level illumination offers visual comfort, wall-mounted ring lights produce ideal lighting for video calls, and acoustic pendants minimise noise for a distraction-free environment.
