VOX Cinemas at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates redefines the cinema experience with five-star luxury. The offering is the first of its kind in a hotel, and the lighting scheme helps create the ultimate entertainment and dining destination.
Our lighting concept is built on elevating the guest experience across the exclusive cinema space, which includes a lounge with a dining and bar area, and a high-tech screening room.
Concealed linear lighting and minimal low-glare downlights create a harmonious balance of indirect and direct illumination. Integrated lighting in wall details, combined with decorative fixtures, completes the space by providing a layer of accent illumination and a sense of luxury and intimacy.
In the screening room, customised recessed lines of light envelop the space, creating a dramatic feature and adding a modern and dynamic touch to the ambient lighting.
A DALI control system provides seamless transitions between lighting scenes in the lounge area and cinema room – essential in a high-end, exclusive environment.
