Saffron, the iconic Asian buffet, has been transformed into a vibrant, stylish destination, cementing its status as Dubai’s top brunch hotspot. The restaurant’s lighting design enhances the renovated interiors, delivering both visual appeal and flexibility.
From bright breakfasts to energetic brunches and moody, intimate dinners, our lighting concept had to balance aesthetics with functionality while achieving the right ambience at all hours. The design centres around a layered scheme that elevates the dining experience and interior design vision.
Adaptable low-glare gimbal downlights provide a base layer of illumination and can be redirected as and when required.
Throughout the restaurant, low-level illumination adds a layer of warmth, depth and visual interest. To address the restaurant’s reflective surfaces, the lighting is cleverly concealed to prevent unsightly reflections.
Lighting details within shelving units and select decorative fixtures provide a layer of accent lighting, enhancing the luxurious, atmospheric dining space. Cove lighting accentuates architectural lines in the ceiling while delivering soft, ambient illumination.
